How often do you train?:
4 turf sessions with the team, 2 turf sessions with my goalie trainer Martijn Drijver and 2 gym sessions a week
List of gear you use and why?:
Robo Hi Rebound kickers and legguards: I have used them all my life now, I will never switch to somthing else. Robo Hot Pants: They are most comfortable and easy to use. Robo Chest Protector: I love the fitting and the new shoulder pads. Robo Elbow Guard: I love the freedom of movemnet with these elbow guards. Robo Groin Guard: Because it's the best in protecting somthing really important. Robo Hi Rebound Hand Protectors: I've used other hand protectors, but it always started to hurt after a while, with the OBO hand protectors it never hurts no matter how fast the balls may be.
Hockey Aspirations:
I want to become the 1st goalie of the National Team of the Netherlands
Life Aspirations:
Make the best out of it. It's okay if you don't achieve the goal you had in mind, as long as you know that you gave it your very best
Advice for young goalkeepers:
Train hard, never give up. I know it sounds cliche, but its true. Don't just train to train, but train to get better. If you have a off day, still get the best out of that training. As long as you do that good things will come.
